Surf spots Algarve

Carrapateira is also one of the most famous surf sports in Portugal and has two very nice and large sandy beaches with several peaks, which are also suitable for beginners. The southern beach is sheltered from the north wind. The northern beach is more open to the north and is embedded in a beautiful dune landscape. It is also a beach, which is very popular with kiters.

Cordoama has a beach with several beautiful peaks, whereby the viewpoint on the top of the cliff is excellent for the spot check. You have to pass the small village of Villa do Bispo and then, after a few kilometers, turn right and a small road will lead you to the beach.

Sagres is a small fishing village. You will enjoy having a refreshing drink in one of the bars after surfing. Sagres is the most southern point in Europe.
The small coastal town has a fishing port; lots of holiday accommodations, a campsite and a handful of bars which are perfect for going out.
The fortress and Cap São Vicente, the most southwestern point of Europe have become great tourist attractions.
The surrounding area offers many fantastic surfing possibilities, which are used by many surfers and body boarders.

Beliche is a very good spot but for good beach break it requires a large nord swell or a south swell.

More constant conditions can be found in Tonel.

In winter Mareta can regularly convince with good waves.

Zavial is one of the many small bays on the south coast of the Algarve and not the only one that has good waves. On the right side of the bay runs a beautiful right over a rocky ground. In the middle of the bay there are usually two main peaks, which however often break close-out.
